My personal belief is that we can heal through the power of God/Christ within us, without the use of any tools. I firmly believe in miracles. So I have often questioned why I am so strongly connected to the Young Living oils.

Yet when I have asked for guidance, I have been shown that essential oils are a symbol for Christ, and connect us all to that place within us where our spirit is whole. Physical or emotional healing is a natural consequence of this Christ Consciousness.

It therefore comes as no surprise to me that Dr. Daniel and Rose-Marie Penoel, in their book Natural Home Health Care using Essential Oils, describe essential oils as having an innate intelligence. They describe them as “adaptogens, in that they seem to understand – or the body understands – instinctively where their influence is needed and how it should be used.”

This has certainly been my experience in using essential oils. I have been surprised at how a particular oil or oil blend will work differently on various people, always bringing about a harmonizing and regulating effect…as if the oil innately works with the area where they are out of balance.

And D. Gary Young, N.D. (the founder of Young Living) states in his book Aromatherapy: The Essential Beginning that, “The pure intelligence of essential oils may be the only tool that can reach into the deep recesses of our brain, cross over the chemical barriers and open the hidden channels of our minds, allowing access to greater knowledge and discernment in reaching our higher potential to become more Christ-like, to communicate without speaking, to focus our thinking and to be able to manifest our thoughts into reality.”
